SAVE OUR LIBRARIES !
BY K.S
As some of you may have heard, libraries in New York are facing a $58.2 million funding cut. This will result in fewer operating hours, fewer days open, and fewer resources. New Yorkers, we can’t let this happen to our education!
Libraries foster curiosity, knowledge, and educate both current and future generations. Without them, many people will no longer have the opportunity to immerse themselves in worlds with Harry and Hermione, the pigeon and Mo Williams, The National Geographic, Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny, among others. We must stand up for our libraries.
For those concerned about this threat to our education, you can take action by protesting using the link below:

Everyone, stand up for our libraries! Remember the crafts and story times you enjoyed as a child, the rush to gather research for school projects, or how you now visit with your children or work peacefully there as an adult. All of this could vanish if we don’t act. The next time you step into a library, consider how it would feel to lose access to this invaluable resource.
